Oh, Shadow how you have followed me.  As seasons change and days go by, The limbs of this tree have twisted.  The leaves have died, been born again frozen, dried and brought to life each day with the sweet morning dew.  Through all of this Shadow you been faithful Like a follow of the Lord.  We have been parted over these years,  As I looked over my shoulder there you were.  Always with an enigmatic smile.  This season after I have returned  Only to find my Shadow reborn.  Now my Shadow is leading me and I am now your shadow.  Light has dawned over us this past season Illuminating our lives, our world, our hearts, I have found you, you have found me Now we can walk hand in hand, equals Not followers anymore, leaders.  Leaders of this new season. 

Sunshine why must you always evade me? I look for you all day within the clouds I have asked you to please illuminate my heart Show the world what I have to offer Show the world a piece of me. I go days without seeing you Nights caress my skin The moon sings me to sleep The stars attempt to feel the emptiness Futile. Fruitless. Barren. I am so tired of waiting for you I have worked so hard But have lost my way Just trying to find you. Everyone keeps saying time heals all But since birth I have this wound Flesh is in tact, bone is unbroken Eyes can still admire, hands can still feel Yet my heart, my heart is failing. Please save this heart, save this soul. I am here waiting for you Sunshine, Waiting patiently for your guiding light Please shine on me. Don't let me fade into blackness...
